Enthralling Bits

You wouldn't expect to find the “2” in many places of your life, would you? So let’s sit back and see how it works out for you!

Sales training provides for professional taking – but sales people also need to be skilled in the art of giving, as well as striking the right balance between you and your employees or customers. This is vital.
We take pride in giving things – and what we take in fees is relatively small compared to your measurable and sustaining outcome!

Redressing the Balance
Balance epitomizes personal well being and is the apex of your striving for stability. It is common knowledge that people in imbalanced situations tend to do everything to regain their inner stability.
We take particular pride in our ability to help clients working to attain the structural stability and inner balance so necessary for a sound working environment.

We have experienced that consulting support is usually considered after, not before, the implementation phase. But professional consulting works best when it has been involved right from the start, that is, before the early phase of analysis. One would find a good analogy with the medical profession where there can be no therapeutic success without a profound diagnosis.

Consultants are beneficial when they combine insight and farsightedness in designing concepts and solutions. The consultant dealing with an array of situations will have refined his or her sense of perception and observation.
Both professional experience and observational positioning will enhance a consultant’s farsightedness, enabling them to better perceive and control possible impacts and effects during times of change and to develop appropriate scenarios in order to overcome these obstacles.

Both positions fancy the opportunities and benefits the other is supposed to enjoy. And both roles carry the burden of social and economic responsibility. For those living the entrepreneurial spirit, it may be hard to swap positions with managers as they would not wish to forego their degree of freedom and personal engagement in deciding smaller but more complex issues and instead take the big issues but with limited freedom to act and being forced to maintain a more professional stance. Managers, to the contrary, may seem a bit more aloof, even despising, but on looking more closely we see that their challenging and more varied working environment together with the chance to make real money clearly attracts many capable people. Only the lack of freedom, a disconnect from the customer base, and the attainment of a certain level of maturity would lead managers to start thinking about becoming an entrepreneur. For both entrepreneurs becoming managers and managers becoming entrepreneurs, we believe that our experience in coaching would be beneficial to your cause.

You would like to incorporate a different business or business model into your company, but don’t know how. Companies are increasingly turning to us for assistance for the successful integration of the opportunities and risks associated with the new method and to help them remodel it to best meet the needs of their target market. For these assignments, we have created a “Me Too Check.”

Orderliness is next to godliness ? - Never!
Every human being keeps the order he or she thinks is needed to sufficiently control the environment they are living in. If they work in a team, their different views on how much order is necessary are subject to variation. This can result in reducing the working output. People tend to believe that chaos is infinite. But we dare to say that chaos is limited, and a certain degree of it may be to the advantage of people's creativity and freewheeling of their thoughts. Talk to us if you want to redress the balance between chaos and order.

Daily life tells us that we need the “2 halves” of our brain to get things done. Actually, it is even more, it takes the cooperation of both to achieve anything effectively. Neurologists have found that our capabilities are the result of the complementary interplay between the left and the right side of the brain. Analogies reach far back into the history of the human race, suggesting that man/woman, rational/emotional, hunter/gatherer, or yin/yang function as complementary pairs.

Seneca, the Roman philosopher, politician, and scientist hit the nail on the head when he said: “Those who want can do it, and those who don’t will have to!” Applying the classical Skill/Will matrix can resurface your employees’ attitudes. By assessing theier want and ability profile will maximize the learning experience and avoid sapping the strengths of consultant and client alike! For those who “want,” we subtly refer to our training program, and for those who “must,” we demonstrate our readiness to talk.
In our professional praxis we observe how consultants are initially met with some sort of reluctance or even antagonizm. Taking this as a starting-point, we specialize in Change Management that even helps the wavering and indecisive to understand their inner blockades, overcome their anxieties, and finally become change agents themselves.

No matter whether it’s a decision that is being prepared or an implementation that is already in its planning stage; it is of utmost importance to act with caution in analyzing the opportunities and threats to avoid nasty surprises during the implementation phase. The management of threats is one of the key disciplines for consultants, and should not be restricted to the sales department. Constraints management is a classical form of preventive management, through which known and unknown threats can be detected, controlled, and, if necessary, eliminated. Marketing methods and public relations efforts can be utilized for the control of images and the public perception of opportunities and threats. Thus we employ Communication as a Leadership Instrument. Typically, business people only see opportunities and threats with an eye on their “return on investment,” and others may invoke the picture of the half-empty/half-full glass, the pro/contra or the plus/minus dichotomy to describe what they are seeing. Experts in financial analysis and taxation contribute to the clarification of risks and constraints and this is essential to calculate key performance indicators from recent years in order to make reliable predictions about the future.

Leadership and team spirit are not contradictive, but complement each other as seen in companies that sport state-of-the-art leadership. Good leadership requires the gift to recognize changes at an early stage and redirect them towards the desired outcome. Team spirit fuels the members’ motivation. Fears and constraints may become the team’s obstacle on its way towards change as do misinterpretations of the objective. In leading a team, one must strike a balance between leadership methods and team spirit, to avoid setbacks and inhibitions during the change process so you can attain the goals.

Our model of performance and participation leads clients to say our assignments provide output². This significant value-add means our costs become irrelevant. Besides measuring and scaling the performance of employees, the contribution of participating customers needs to be assessed as well. Participating customers not only improve customer-company-relationships, but their actions lay a solid grounding for excellent service and sustainable loyalty.

Good service must be made tangible and should be stored as such in the mind of the customer. It should – no, it must be experienced as the ultimate magical touch. Conventional marketing methods are inappropriate for conveying service excellence. Therefore, other forms of communication are demanded. Shelf life constitutes the second component of service excellence, and we are not talking about warehouse storage. It is part of our business to help companies enhance the delivery, dependability and reliability of their services and steer them towards perfection.

In recent years a number of large scandals have been uncovered - many in the least expected places. Morality and values can be connected through a transparent and equitable moderation of the of expectations people have on both sides of the table. This moderation is indeed happening today and can be seen in those enterprises looking more closely at sales transactions and their daily communications. We are happy to assist your company or institution through the applycation of reputation management methods, the moral interpretation of actions and by looking at the moral awareness of employees and moral practice of customers. People are constantly acquiring knowledge, and the underlying force of curiosity is innate to all human beings. Most prefer the trial & error method in pursuing their desire. The fields of learning are permanently shifting – some people become effortlessly acquainted with new information, but others will have a very hard time. To make the learning experience sustainable, the coach has to ensure a thorough understanding, preparation, and execution of the learning process. For participants, the overall mood during the acquisition of knowledge and the satisfaction of their curiosity is also of central importance to the success of a project as it creates an environment in which facts and figures become sculptural, vivid, and filled with life.
Maybe you already have some learning programs in your company but need a coach to adapt the learning curve in a way that enables you to hold the seminars yourself? Or do you wish to learn more about our tested training sessions? We are happy to assist you.
